Requirements:
A directory website for services grouped by state/area.
Users can go to an area (say NSW/Sydney) and browse services (say butchers,
bakers or candlestick makers)
2 static &/or 2 dynamic paged website written in PHP and connecting to a
mysql db
1 static = home page with 2 dropdown lists (1 state/area the other services) (I
can sort out the other navigation)
1 dynamic = shows list of services in selected area ie All listed Butchers in
NSW/Sydney as selected in the DDL
1 page = "Join up" Service Provider update details page ie Join up
details, Name, address etc with activation code sent to valid email address.
1 page = "Update Listings" Once valid service providor has logged in,
they can add/amend their own listings.
The log in to the secure area is only for service providers and it is not
nessesary to keep them logged in if they move out of the "update
listings" area.
Please ensure session ids are not used and the address format comes out in mod
rewrite style ie /nsw/sydney/butchers.html instead of butchers.php?sessionID
I am not concerned with the text or graphics on this site as I am a fairly
competent web developer (and DBA), just currently PHP illiterate.
I will take over the continued development and support of the site once the
basics are in place. I just don't have the time to learn PHP at the moment.
