My previous programmer was working on this project, but only completed some of it. I need new programmer who knows how ebay.com works, so I don't have a hard time explaining things. and recheck and fix what needs to be done. Below I put "FIX?" to indicate the last programmer finished the item. 1.Buy it now, should not be able to be lower than “Start price” or “Reserve price”, also have a message in red font “Buy it Now cannot be lower than the Start price or Reserve price” if lower than “Start price” or “Reserve price”. Fixed? 2.When relisting a closed auction OR editing running auction, there are no pictures of what was there before, just a url link. I would like the old picture to be there and a way to chose to edit the picture by 2 choice: a)url link or b) browsing and upload a picture. Additional uploads still has the fees, deletes minuses the old charge in the fees, url redirects are free. 3.In the percentages currently if an item price closed between price a-b, A% will be charged: if closed b-c, B% will be charged, etc. I want it so if close in b-c, A% will be charged on the first amount a-b and add B% to be charged for the next b-c. etc. 4.If I pay for gallery picture (currently set at FREE). In gallery, and front home page features the uploaded picture items icons don't show, they just show a camera icon. Only works when looking through category sections. Need to fix so 1st picture of item for sale is showing it's icon if they paid. 5.If pressing listings submit button more than once, it will relist the item again and again. This should be correct to once. Fixed? 6.Question 1: if I move to a server host in the future will it be easy. What is the process, I do not know too much. Question 2: If I create a backup, can it be loaded to a new host with everythingcomplete with no problems. 7.In the category, when mouse over sections category, put a color more visible so users can see which words belong to each other. They seem jumbled together. Or suggest a better way. Fixed? 8.a) Within each auction put us by the $, us$_ . __ for the start price and current bid so people know it is in US dollars. Part done? b)Also put a section in red font Approximately CDN$_ . __ with a Canadian –USA currency converter. Only Partly done? 9. Need Advise in what can be done. When I delete a category or change a category, users' current auctions are still running but cannot be found. 10. Advise first. Instead of choosing dutch auction or standard auction from the list fixed, standard, dutch, classified. If dutch and standard are together since they are the same form, I think. Just when you choose standard, and add more then 1 quantity, it will give an error to choose a dutch option. It did not really make sense they separate the 2 options and have a quantity field in the standard auctions option that serves no purpose since standard auctions have only 1 item. See Post an item scetion first to know what I am saying. 11. In when logging in and in “My auctions” section: a)Current Items - Manage your current items! Change to: Current Items For Sale- Manage your current items for sale! b)Closed Items - Manage your closed items! Change to 2 sections: Closed Sold Items - Manage your closed sold items! Closed Unsold Items - Manage your closed unsold items! c)If you can separate them in 2 category sections– Selling-Buying that would avoid confusion to user. 12. In “My auctions“Current auctions in the headers Item Description,PriceBids,Ends,Edit,End Early Add a “Sell Similar Item” category between the categories "Edit" and "End Early" where a seller can sell a similar item listed. 13.When listing or relisting add Canadian 13 provinces in Region list box Canada-____, like in wemakematches.com. Then right side of box put "For USA or Canada" 14.On the page http://www.ebosa.com/cgi-bin/auctions/fees.pl Add to the list: Buy It Now Free Reserve Price Free Private Auctions Free Fixed? 15.Increase Item title in listing section from 42 to 60. Fixed? 16.a)Please Advise and suggest: make it like ebay so there is a link on top for sellers to be able to scroll and jump back and forth for the listing new item, or editing a listing. Also have some sort of automatic update when movings between sections. b)For example when relisting able to scfroll back and change category, currently can't change category. 17. Please suggest and advise: When relisting currently only gives a URL link section to put pictures. I want it so able to see to current pictures, and able to delete or add a new picture. By browse and add OR with URL. I'm not too sure if you are familiar with ebay's section. Could be see current picture and able to click on it to delete or add new pic. (suggest) Please suggest and help in any other griphical and user friendly improvements. Please take a look at the site www.ebosa.com .
