When some members on my dating site send messages to some other members on the dating site, the recipients will receive them without restriction. I want to give every user on the dating site the chance to block incoming messages from another person. Thus, it is that a person SHALL BE ABLE TO, while browsing over other member profiles he sees in his own accounts section, press on 'Block this User' button. The effect is that, when the blocked user attempts to send out an internal mail message (by pressing 'Email', 'Flirt', or 'Hotlist' buttons) to the user who blocks him, the message shall NOT be sent to that user. Whereas to the blocked user, he shall get a red message printed on screen: "You have been Blocked by this user". But take note: after blocking, the button, as seen by the user who chose to block another person, shall get changed to 'Unblock This User', to allow him or her to unblock the previously blocked user as he wishes, which shall have the intended effect. After unblocking, the words 'Block This User' shall come back again, to allow the member to block this user again, if he wishes. In SIMPLE TERMS, the words 'Block This User' and 'Unblock This User' will alternate with each other in showing on any member's profile, as it is viewed by a particular user. By default, the words 'Block This User' shall be shown on the profile whenever a user checks up another person. (as the beginning status shall be that nobody has been blocked by another person yet, until the latter wishes) --- Before the above happens, I would like the chosen programmer to repair a bug: It used to be that, whenever a user viewing another member's profile, clicks on the 'Email' button there, this will trigger an outgoing email template to be sent to the member. That email template is still in my cpanel. You just have to check it out and make sure it gets sent out to the member again. (A few weeks ago, a programmer did some work involving something else and, due to that, that email template does not get sent out when the 'Email' button is pressed, but I am sure it can be re-enabled to get sent easily.)
