We are looking for an ongoing relationship with a skilled oscommerce programmer. We have a number of stores run by our clients, but we are finding our current staff are not skilled enough to fix problems and add new things for us. We want to work with someone ongoing, to help us with oscommerce projects. Some things may only require an hour here and there, others more. Your skills in oscommerce will allow us to provide better service to our customers, because you will be: -Skilled in oscommerce and PHP, and Mysql. -Have a number of years' experience working with PHP so know what works and what doesn't. -Have experience with plugins, so know how to add them, as well as modify them if necessary. -Ideally English as first language, or have very strong English skills. -Prompt to fix problems. We can't wait 3 weeks to have a 2 hour project finished. Some examples of recent projects that you would be required to be capable in resolving: -A client has an oscommerce site and wants the design changed to match their new design from their normal website. -A client who accepts credit cards has tax applied to the product, but the tax on shipping is only working in the order, not the payment gateway. So all orders processed are being charged to the customer at $1 less than is on the oscommerce invoice (the value of the tax on shipping is $1). -A client who had an SEO pack module installed to oscommerce, but it's only working 70% correctly and needs to be fixed. -A client who we have setup a WYSWYG editor for, but files such as images can only be uploaded in the ***WYSIWYG editor*** for products, not for normal web pages, so the wysywg editor needs to be fixed to take into account this problem. -Client is getting payments from customers on credit card, but not receiving the orders. We require a good response time to problems, we will ask for time involved, but we will have lots of work ongoing for the right partner. This project is for 5 hours of trialling of your services, so please provide your hourly rate multiplied by 5 in the pricing column. Please include in your PM some oscommerce examples of sites you have done, and what you did on those sites, so we can take a quick look. We are more interested in a long term relationship, where we will provide you with work ongoing and you will become familiar with our clients, what they want and how their oscommerce sites work. We are looking for someone who can provide us with a better solution for our oscommerce needs for our clients ongoing.
