Description: |
Website Proposal: I am sorry to those of you who already put a bid on this similar project a few weeks ago; i had to do some serious rethinking of the project at the last minute in regards to integrating the website into my accounting software, and have come up with a slightly modified proposal to suit. OScommerce customisation: Requirements: Complete website development, including design-layout, shopping cart customisation, approx 15 custom pages [content written by us, which includes the normal pages such as terms of use, about us, news, links, and so on, plus some more in-depth pages and incl testimonials, and so on], as well as payment gateway integration. NB: I have already done some customisation of OScommerce and got many basic features up and running with the database. The winning bidder will simply be required to take this project as started and complete the required customisation and integration as set out in this brief. Background to the company/project: We are a fast growing all Australian owned company, and we aim to be the BEST online seller of photographic equipment in Australia, through providing superior customer service both before and after sales; through quick dispatch [same day, which is why we need our system to be EFFICIENT], through our extensive extended warranties on all products, and also through being one of the most competitively priced LEGITIMATE sellers in Australia. We need our website to reflect our commitment to quality, high standards of service and speedy delivery >> we aim to create the highest quality shopping environment available in Australia. If you think you can create this atmosphere and environment, then we would like to work with you!! Design + layout: For the design and layout, we need to have the overall branding based around www.smartinfosys.biz/camerapro/flash however the layout will be different [see attached story-boards which i will forward to winning bidder], due to the fact that the above is simply an ebay template. I will require at least 2 designs to be done and then be given full revision rights over the design of the project. The design and layout must be of an exceptional overall quality, be professional and visually appealing. I am extremely concerned to avoid the very poor quality/amateurish design of most OScommerce/populated database websites such as www.photobuff.com.au, www.17photo.com and so on. I require examples of your e-commerce store/design layout work portfolio to be provided. Functionality: The overall function of the site will be an e-commerce store which is easy to use, navigate, and of a very professional design/layout. There needs to be a multi-level menu/category system, which displays items in category type, then manufacturer, then product-style categories [3 levels of subcategories]. This site is going to be integrated directly into MYOB for managing sales and inventory, which will be done by a firm here in Australia. It will be necessary to work directly with this firm on a number of issues during the completion of the project, so good communication is ESSENTIAL. Key functionalities: • Manufacturer search/browse drop-down menu • Live-chat • Search function w “google-style” search for function – what i mean by this is that it need to search inclusively, many oscommerce searches do not function properly to bring up items in the search that they should. • MYOB export module and MYOB import module integration to be included. These are already created for oscommerce, and simply require integration into the site. • Populated categories >> “related items”; “customers who bought this also purchased [?]”; “discounted items” [at start of checkout once customer already adds items to cart] • Wish-list > when customer logs in, will automatically forward to wish-list if items have been saved previously. If not, they will be forwarded back to relevant category where they are browsing; if not browsing then they will be directed back to home page. • There will be a “parent-child” relationship between main items and secondary items. For example, i can add one main item [eg camera] to the site, and then choose which items will be “child”, [such as flash, CF card, battery, etc]. These “child items” will show up as “Related items” when somebody clicks on parent item. >> when entering an item into the database, it is necessary to be able to choose category, sub-category, and manufacturer. • HTTPS from logging into cart [necessary for you to integrate with my SSL provided on my server]. • Order status updates by email: ordered, processed [to charge credit card at this point?], shipped. • Coupons facility: we will mail out coupons to customers, and offer them a discount [say $50 off purchase of $2000 or more, etc]. This needs to be applied to the customers order automatically upon checkout when they put in the coupon code. • When displaying products at the bottom level of sub-category, there should be “add to card”, “add to wish list”, “tell a friend”, in a similar setup to http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?ci=0&sb=ps&pn=1&sq=desc&InitialSearch=yes&O=jsp%2FRootPage.jsp&A=search&Q=*&bhs=t&shs=canon+1d+iii&sb=ps&pn=1&sq=desc&InitialSearch=yes&O=jsp%2FRootPage.jsp&A=search&Q=*&bhs=t .. overall i like this layout of BHphoto a lot and am looking to emulate it to a significant degree in terms of looks and professionalism • > once a customer selects a particular item, it should then show up with related items below, reviews, specifications, ?with related items to the RHS as per http://www.adorama.com/ICA1DM3.html • Once added to cart, there should be still a display of related/recommended items below the item, with a very easy “tick-box” system to add more items to cart.  As logging into checkout, at the final screen before shipping, there should be “discounted items” to add to cart as well... • Prices should display both RRP and our price, and then give the saving in terms of % and $ • Keywords on home page • “tested”/ “hacker safe” [with date] symbols. Page links across top: Home | about | specials | sustainability | contact us | testimonials | my account | newsletter? Other pages [links down side below menu] Newsletter FAQ Finance Conditions of Use Product Resources Affiliate Program Gift certificate? Upcoming events News Privacy notice Feedback [there may still be several more to add here] This pretty well sums up the project for now. I look forward to working with you. Please PM me for any questions or comments, whether regarding budget, etc.... Related Projects: This project is the proprietary information of .
