We are seeking the development of an online ticketing system which will enable customers to select tickets online from a viewable seating plan, purchase and pay for the tickets by c.card and either print the tickets themselves or have them mailed. System must cater for both reserved and unreserved single tickets with several different pricing sections per venue, and subscriptions of multiple events. The administrator(s) must also be able to take phone or mail bookings and would be responsible for ticket printing and issuing (posting) of tickets. Online payments to be made by credit card via payment gateway and merchant acc. Ideally we would prefer an “off the shelf “ system if available that may have similar features but modified to suit our particular needs. MySQL database , PHP or ASP would be our expectation of operating system used. For the admin side we want something with the ease of use, simplicity and functionality of the ticketing system offered by http://www.nortechsoftware.co.uk/ but with the added capabilities of an online ticket purchasing capabilities. The selected bidder could expect to be engaged to provide ongoing development work and to develop this system with the capability for it to be offered for an as a stand alone online ticketing system to other cultural organizations or event managers Please do NOT even think of bidding on this project unless: 1. You have a full understanding of what is involved and in particular have read the attached “specification” file. 2. You can clearly demonstrate that you have either developed a similar system or have the capability to understand and develop such a system. You MUST provide evidence of this. Bids that cannot show such evidence will not be considered irrespective of the value of the bid. 3.
