Hi all, I would need help in a Statistic Assignment, you need to have the knowledge of SPSS software and to churn out SAV Output. Kindly advise :) Tentatively I need to have the complete assignment by 15th September 2008. All questions as below: -------------------------------------------------------------------- Food for Thought Mr Lai Yum Seng wants to set up a fine dining restaurant in Singapore. He has engaged a market research company to find out about the Price per person ($) based on the ratings for Food, Décor and Service, and on Location. The data from the research are stored in the Food for Thought data file. Use SPSS Student Version 15.0 to process the data-set and generate appropriate regression models to help you answer the following questions: Question 1 Develop scatter diagrams, and hence comment on the relationship on each of the following independent variables between the dependent variable, Price per person ($): (a) Rating for Food (x1) (3 marks) (b) Rating for Décor (x2) (3 marks) (c) Rating for Service (x3) (3 marks) Question 2 Using t hypothesis testing, determine by calculation if there is any significant relationship between the rating for Décor on the Price per person ($) at a significance level of 0.05. Verify your result with the appropriate SPSS output(s). (20 marks) Question 3 Develop a 95% confident interval for the mean Price per person ($) when the rating for Service is 20. Develop also a 95% prediction interval estimates confidence interval for the Price per person ($) when the rating for Service is 20. Comment on the findings between these two interval estimates. (15 marks) Question 4 Develop an estimated regression equation with ratings for Food (x1), Décor (x2) and Service (x3) and Location of Restaurant (x4) as the independent variables. Discuss your findings. (21 marks) Question 5 Based on your analysis in Question 4, how would you advise Mr Lai Yum Seng? (5 marks) Question 6 A set of powerpoint presentation slides (8- 10 slides) highlighting the points you have covered in the questions above. (5 marks) Question 7 A script containing a explanation on the presentation of your powerpoint summary. The duration of your script should be about 8-10 minutes to explain on all the slides.
