This project is aimed to be adopted by the educational institutions to meet their requirement for maintaining the database of the students who are useful in accessing the information from remote locations and the companies who are willing to conduct campus selections. The wireless remote data computing and information system is a good solution for problem given above. In this project the entire user details will be placed on the database which can be treated as remote data, this data can be accessed by the users with an authorization of login and password the project deals with updating and editing the user profile, by their administrator. Here administrator can edit the profile of the user, where each user will be given a user id and password for login, users can edit or update their profile from any remote location. Here final year students going for campus interviews can upload their resumes to their website. They can also update their project details while in project period of their academic year. Administrator will maintain the profiles of the companies who are coming for campus interviews, where they can short list the candidates based on their academic records. Short listed candidates will receive a mail recording interview both in his mobile and email id. In other view the permission is given to all the companies to access the student profile, so we can save the time of students as well as the company. In this project we have three main modules: Ø USER Ø ADMINISTRATOR Ø COMPANY USER: In this module the user has to enter their personal details or resumes by login into the website form. They can edit or update their profile from any remote location. ADMINISTRATOR: In this module administrator allow to update the newly entered user details into the user’s database. The administrator has the privileges to view the user’s profile. COMPANY: Here the companies are coming for campus interviews have to register their profile for interview. Companies got the privileges to view the student’s profiles by taking permission from their corresponding administrator and shortlist the candidates for campus interview. Conformation mail will be sent to the students mobile and their email id. Here we need system with LAN connection. The hardware requirements are to be considered as follows: Pentium III processor with clock speed of 500 MHz, Ram 128Mb, modems 56Kbps, Hard disk with minimum of 4 GB capacity. The software requirements are j2me for mobile communication with pc, j2ee for server based programming to control the database.
