Generall agreement: - All rights of the software for use, distribution and modification will stay with us - Payment is made after solution is completed and working without bugs for at least 7 days. - Payment is made via SL transfer to your SL account. - We will not provide you with S3 account, server or anything else. Thats your busniess. - You will calculate a restricted timetable. If you do not deliver on time, we will cut the price for first day of delay by 20%. Every further day of delay will lead to a reduction of 5% of the agreed price. So please calculate wise. All testing, debugging etc. must be included! You can start with the following class as inspiration/sample and modify them, if you want: http://undesigned.org.za/2007/10/22/amazon-s3-php-class You can also use other existing solution, if you have a reliable one. Our requirements: 1) script should be in php 2) script should handle named directory and store them recursive to s3 3) script has to be well documented, that we know exactly where to configure which part 4) should easily handle bigger files (e.g. 2 GB each) 5) should easily handle bigger amount of files (e.g. 2 million files), must be databased if job should be interrupted. 6) needs option for overwriting existing files (yes/no) 7) needs option for storing/overwriting only new files (yes/no) 8) needs option for sending status mail after finishing backup 9) status mail should include summary of backup (no of files stored to s3, no of skipped files, no of overwritten files, total files) 10) target bucket to specify, if not exist should be created 11) subdirectories should be created in target bucket es well 12) script has to be highly reliable !!!
