for a picture rating system. The basis of the site is for members to "rate" pictures that will be posted on the site, based on a 100% scale (NOT a 5 star rating). I would like to setup a database for members to be able to logon this site and rate pictures, perferably signup only needs to be a vaild email address. I would like experienced programs/designers only for the time frame of completing our deadline. I want it to be easy to navigate, with no advertisement, just strait up a rating site for pictures others can rate. The site: I would like for people to rate based upon membership. So, to rate you must be a basic member. Membership just will consist of an email and nickname or something. I would like to have the option for members to have a "favorites" and an "inbox" messaging. The most important is our rating counter, so members know how many pictures they have rated and who so they build up points to get stuff from us. The idea is the more they rate the more points they build up for free stuff like shirts, tickets, ipods, etc. However we need to be able to limit one rate per picture per person via IP address. The site content: I would like the color scheme to be a nice "clean" feeling like light colors, light blue. I would like the main page to have a "picture of the day" to rotate each day in the upper lift hand corner so its the first thing that is seen. A members logon in the other corner, an email subscription. A "news" section where we can have info for latest contest and news. A links for top rated sites. Next, when they click on a picture there is a simple layout: one large picture with underneith many smaller pictures that change either with a rollover or a click, it to the right of this picture has information. I already have partal setup the db and the site. I need a programmer to tweak it to fit our needs.
