Description: |
Hi there, I am looking for someone with extensive experience in MySQL, PHP and phpmydirectory software to create/install some custom modifications for a directory website. Preference will be given to programmers that can give examples of previous work they've done with phpmydirectory, and those that can get the job done the fastest. Customisation 1 - 'add to watchlist' function. I am not talking about a cookie-based function (I already have this). I want users to be able to add/remove listings from their watchlist, which I think will involve adding another field to the 'users' database table. ID's of listings will be stored in this field, and will be displayed in search-results format when a user clicks 'my watchlist'. I already have a working 'quicklist' function (cookie based), so some code could be copied from this to format the results display. Customisation 2 - Question & answer function. This will need to be like the Q&A function on trademe.co.nz. At the bottom of each listing will be a link to 'ask a question', followed by a list of all the previously asked questions & answers (if any). This will require a new database table (I think). When a user asks a question, an email will be sent to the owner of the listing notifying them, and the question itself will be displayed on the listing, but only able to be viewed by the owner of the listing. The listing owner will then be able to answer this question, and his answer will be displayed on the listing below the question. The person who asked the question will be notified when it is answered. All added code will need to be written cleanly and commented, and the fee for this work will include full rights to the code created. Feel free to send me a message if you need any additional details. I have already customised the directory quite a bit so am familiar with the way phpmydirectory works. Also, I will be posting another job for more customisations on here shortly, so please check that post too. Thanks Related Projects: This project is the proprietary information of .
