Basically what we are trying to do is create a basic
newspaper style classified layout. Deltascripts
classifieds has some pretty robust features, many of
which we have no need for at this point, but the fact
that they are there will help us down the road. As I
am sure you know, sites like these can be black holes
for features. The beauty of this project (hopefully)
is that my client wants everything as simple as
possible. My client does not want users to have to
login to allow posting of ads without login/registration and
will be done with image
verification, etc. Outside of that request, the
client would like to change the following:
1. Change the overall layout of the templates (will provide)
2. Simplify display of ads in category (Sorted by Make, Model, & Year)
3. Rework of ad layout (display of ads)
4. Simplified Admin Layout
5. Overall appearance change of site to match existing
theme. (will provide upon successful bid)
6 Rework navigation links (see number 5)
8. No login required.
9. Possible change of searching option ( the way user
searches/fields)
User uses drop down menu to search the make and model of car.
Ads can be displayed
I am confident that the foundation script will allow for all of this in a
reasonable short amount of time.
