We are a Consulting Firm with that offers Consulting, Software, Books and Seminars/ Training to our clients. At present, Seminar information is offered on one site, while software is on another, and Consulting on a third. It is all under one umbrella. Now, we are looking for a new look. New design and to merge all these areas into one site. This new design must be able to be used for print in the future. Eg. Brochures, business stationery, marketing pieces, large banners and advertising. Client Accounts - Clients have the option of signing up an account. This is for newsletters/ purchases and Forum - Accounts are not required until they download software, purchase, or join the forum (Form could have a unique Handle/Nickname and Password) - All accounts have the box or drop down “Where did you hear about us” Consulting - 4 pages with general information on what we do for our clients. Books At Present we offer 2 books. - 3 pages of information, just text, about the author, author history, and TOC - Book Reviews in general from customers (graphically interesting – little wording) - Purchase ability with 3 options for delivery (standard, expedited, and overnight) - Course Adoption for bulk purchases for schools/universities - 1 page information with link to submission form - Submission form information to be taken from there account, but a number of other required fields. This can just be emailed to us. Software pages At present we offer 6 different software packages - Download Trial Versions of software offered - Client must register for an account or log-in - Email sent out to supply software key immediately for 30 day version - Email to be sent out after 5 days, 15 days, 20 days, and 30 days with different offers and “tip of the day”. This will also include reminders of how long there is till the software has expired. - 3 pages of information with popup windows containing screen captures (links throughout text) of software features (appox 10 pics each) - FAQ page (30 common questions and answers in general) - Client Reviews (graphically interesting – little wording) - Purchase - Client must signup for account or log-in - Add to shopping cart with these items added automatically: - Each software purchase must have the addition of software CD and manual - Each CD/Manual has a shipping charge. Eg. Software for $500 + CD/Manual for $35 + Shipping for $9 = Total of $544 (no additional taxes) - Network versions must purchase Station Lic. And one workstation. The user can add workstations as required. Eg $1,500 for network lic., $100 per station. + CD/Manual for $35 + Shipping for $9 = Total of $1,644 (no additional taxes) - (At present clients have requested a quote. We have been doing these calculations manually, but want to standardize this in the future) Seminars At present we offer approx 2-3 different seminars per month at various locations across the USA as well as a number of online training seminars per month. - Online Seminars: - 2 pages Info (Courses offered and minimum computer system requirements) - Signup form with required fields - Personal/corporate Seminars (one week or weekend seminars) - 4 pages on different seminars offered - Dates for upcoming seminars - Ability to signup/ register for seminars - Client must sign up or log-in - Have some additional boxes or checkboxes for hotel reservations, car/travel info, etc. Company Contact - 2 pages of info (directors, and locations/phone numbers), - form to fill out to Contact Us. I do not want to offer email addresses to anyone viewing from online until they communicate with us first. Forms can be sent to our emails depending on what area they are interested in/contact regarding. Forum - Forum/BLOG for clients to write their own comments/ questions/ conversation. Need to be able to monitor/ edit/ delete conversations that might be inappropriate. Shopping Cart - Some customization to purchases (eg software needs to add some items: CD + Manual or purchase network software, add workstation. - Books only has 3 options for shipping - We get approx 1 sale per week at this time, and process manually. However if this increases, we are looking to have the purchases done automatically down the road Tell a Friend link on each page - Goes to a form and sends “a friend” the link to the page they were just on. - This should also collect the names/ emails of the people. - It must check by email address if they are already in the client accounts so as not to have duplicates Bookmark this site - Always a good idea to allow the user to place a bookmark automatically. Site Map - Each page listed by list or graphically by section. (pretty standard) Customer Emails/Newsletters (Opt-Out) - All data collected must have the option to opt-out of emails. This needs to be done 3 ways: 1. At signup, client can “uncheck” box 2. at the bottom of each email, I would like them to click on a link that opens there account, then allows them to change options 3. Allow me to search for clients name/ email, then check/ uncheck as many people call in. Control Menu (For us, password protected) - For us to make updates/ editions/ creation of: - Customer accounts - Forums - Create Newsletters - Newsletters to be emailed to client list (ability to WYSIWYG text and add photos etc.) - I would like to do all newsletters for the next month(s) at one time and schedule them to go out at certain dates/times. - Add/ edit/ delete Seminars - Edit prices/ shipping etc for purchased items Payment: TBA, (per Phase) Start Date: September 1st, 2005 Date to be completed: May 2006 Get $20 Off Panda Internet Security 2008.
