We are trying to identify cases with unsatisfied money judgments! In other words the plaintiff won the case the judge ordered the defendant to pay and the defendant never paid. Access table contains the courthouse name and county the courthouse is located you need to go to this website http://www.sconet.state.oh.us/Web_Sites/courts/default.asp find the county, then the courthouse and click on the link for the courthouse website. Once you arrive at the courthouse website look for "civil case lookup", or "civil case inquiry", or "online dockets", or similar language directing you to the case lookup area. You may access the cases by entering a case number which is found in the access table, or entering the name of the plaintiff or the name of the defendant. Once you find the correct case go to the "docket entries" and scan for the following keywords: “Satisfied” or “Satisfaction of Judgment” “Dismissed” or “Case dismissed” “Bankrupt” or the words “Suggestion of Bankrupcty” Satisfaction of Judgment Mark the appropriate fields in the database and proceed to the next case.. On occasion a courthouse will not have their cases online, in this case mark the unavailable field as "yes". If you can not locate an individual case within a particular courthouse's online information mark the case not found field "yes". Duplicate Case numbers should be marked identically, no need to research the case more than once.
