We have several MS Access tables which need to be combined and de duplicated. Separate into Tables • Each record will have a category, membership and license type. These will need to be split up into many to many tables Formatting clean-up • All phone, fax as numbers with phone formatting • Any company names in all CAP should be Title Case but do not lose acronyms spelled all in CAPs • Convert all web address to having http://www. Versus some have www. • Check for poor formed email, phone, fax • Put Zips in same column (Canadian and US are in separate columns at times • Remove all & • Those without categories check on line to clean up Data Clean Up • When de duplicating there are some records in some table with complete info and others without. I need to have the most complete info for each record • A few records will need to be hand verified - If Websites don’t match verify online, If Phone’s don’t match verify online • In total there are about 100K records in about 10tables.
