Description: |
database order management system. details are listed below; Export Settings Two interfaces are required to integrate with SmartEtailing's XML Order Export utility: 1) An interface to retrieve new orders (Order Retrieval) 2) An interface to confirm receipt of retrieved orders (Order Confirmation) The Order Retrieval interface should execute an https GET to query SmartEtailing's Order Export utility for new orders. If any exist, they are returned in XML format. After successfully parsing each order, the Order Confirmation interface should execute an https GET, which in-turn causes SmartEtailing's Order Export utility to update the specified order status from new (pending export) to exported. Once this status changes the order will not be included in subsequent Order Retrieval requests. Order Retrieval Interface The order retrieval interface can be implemented as script, program, or html page that accesses the SmartEtailing Order Export utility using an https GET. The underlying technology used to develop the interface is irrelevant, as long as it is uses https and accepts and parses the data consistent with the interface standard. The order retrieval URL can be found in the Order Manager under Export Settings where the interface is accessible through the web site backend. Order Confirmation Interface The order confirmation interface confirms receipt of each order, which in-turn causes SmartEtailing's Order Export utility to update specified order status from new (pending export) to exported. Once this status changes the order will not be included in subsequent Order Retrieval requests. The order confirmation interface should use an https GET. The URL can be found in the Order Manager under Export Settings, where the interface is accessible through the web site backend. The order confirmation URL uses the following structure: https://securecart.net/webservices/xml/feeds.cfc?method=UpdateOrder&merchant=%WebSiteID%&URLKey=%URLKey%&OrderNumber=%OrderNumber% There are 3 required parameters that the confirmation URL must contain: * %WebSiteID% – The id of the website whose order is to be confirmed * %URLKey% – Encrypted web site specific key used for protection from unauthorized access to the order confirmation interface * %OrderNumber% – The order confirmation number to be processed
