• I have a MSACCESS database called CONTACTSW.. It is a program which does mass mailings and marketing to my clients. I want to put all my data in Mxcontact. • You must have experience with ACCESS, SQL, outlook forms and reports, outlook exchange, VBscript, crystal reports. • You must be able to schedule some time to work in “remote assistance” (with Windows XP) on my computer. We will talk by phone as we are doing this. (I will call you and pay for the phone charges) • I will pay weekly. Hourly wages as agreed upon. • To start with I want to get the project going as outlined below. Later on I will want enhancements from time to time Guidelines: 1. Install MSCONTACT with the SOHO ADVANCED VERSION with the MARKETING module. This is an SQL version – all data resides in SQL. It uses the MSDE SQL Server 2005 express edition. 2. Locate a suitable MSEXCHANGE host Try Sherweb first. 3. Install MSCONTACT a. Configure MSExchange folders for 3 users b. Configure SQL engine c. Setup MSContact “parameters” d. Install the marketing module 4. Make minor changes to my CONTACT form a. Use forms designer and vbscript b. Create a new field for mail merge. It will combine the name of the husband and spouse (“Dear John and Mary”) c. Create a new field for mail merge for the envelope line. (Example, “Mr.and Mrs. Smith”) d. Create a field to calculate age e. Add other custom fields as needed 5. REPORTS. Modify the built in “Company Detail” report to match my report in CONTACTSW – use Crystal reports or vbscript or SQL. (See procedure for creating reports for the SQL edition on website) 6. Implement other functionality as required 7. Import the Contacts table from access in Mxcontact – about 800 records. 8. Import other linked tables if necessary – data entry if necessary 9. Create some custom views (see procedure for creating SQL views) a. Setup some filters based on linked tables 10. Change 4 or 5 Word templates for outlook mailmerge (change the field names to match outlook field names) 11. Create some document basic word templates 12. Change the picklists 13. Enter “item level security” for users 14. Change the built-in “types” for journal items (follow the procedure on the mxcontact website) 15. Document the installation – make usage notes 16. Download and install Easy Mail Merge for Outlook and intregrate with Mxcontact (see procedure on website) 17. Download and install LOOKTOSKYPE (see info on website) 18.
