Listing Service. I already received information abut Westchester MLS, but you need to do some research how RET Server works and how MLS data can import to our Database and display to our website. These are information I received from Westchester MLS It is reasonable to try to explain everything about RETS, that is why you will need to acquire a copy of the RETS 1.5 specification, but the 50,000 foot view of RETS is as follows. You use a RETS Client (application) to submit HTTP requests to our RETS Server. Our server parses your requests and send you back a response. You in turn process the response and use the data that is returned to you in whatever fashion you desire. Your Client will need to be able to log in to our server, pull metadata (using the GetMetadata transaction), pull data for listings, offices, and agents (using the Search transaction), pull pictures (using the GetObject transaction), and if you wish logout from our server. Bottom line, you will want to get a copy of the spec. Also, take a look at www.rapattoni.com/rets for some documents and links to the RETS website, Wiki, and forums. The RETS server is not available via a web browser. For more information regarding RETS and the version we are on please see the RETS 1.5 Specification.
