Description:

The website is intended to store, view and analyze financial and marketing
information of a company.
Couple of key themes and functionalities to include is:
- Person will be able to upload weekly updates to database with a click of a
button. Weekly information composed of around 10-15 databases.
- Ability to drill on data
- Graphs of information
- Session variables = depending on user, you will be able to see certain data
- Ability to map orders data information in US map (saw free software that
permits this in http://mapguide.osgeo.org/about.html)
- Certain pages will have the option to input information into fields that will
also refresh database information
I mentioned PHP programming option because I thought that would be the most
user friendly option but I am open to other options as long its user friendly
and info can be seen in most browsers. Also, I mention Microsoft Access as the
database since that would make easier to keep the information in someone's
computer but I know it has some capacity restraints so I am also open to other
options (like MySQL) if there is a secure and more scalable option to store
information. Also, website would need a professional feel. Thanks.
