Since www.settlers4.net closed down (This was the heart to a community of
Settlers 3,4 & 5 gaming fans) theres currently a huge void in the community
of this game and nothing to fill it, therefore I want to fill it. I wish to have
a website created along with forum to allow the community to come back together,
this project is open to an on going process if I am successful in obtaining
funding from the community to add a mapbase and various other features to the
website.
I am looking to create a website called OurSettlers.com (a domain which I am in
the process of buying) I wish to cultivate graphics and logos for the website in
the theme's of the two games, mainly Settlers 3 and Settlers 5. To avoid
uploading files I will simply give some sources of background of the game from
the following websites:

www.thesettlers.com
www.diesiedler.de
www.siedler-portal.de
The game is a German game so will have to have relevant translations within the
design, I can provide these upon request. I am first looking to open a
professional and maintainable website with forums and then I will look to expand
it to be a service for many maps from the games to be uploaded to and downloaded
from, so this could potentially become a large project.
