CREATIVE! FOR THE MOST PART, WE HAVE HAD GREAT EXPERIENCES HERE WITH, VERY HONEST PEOPLE, & WE WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT THIS PROJECT GOES OFF WITHOUT A HITCH, AND IT MUST HAPPEN IN SPECIFIED TIME. MAX BUDGET FROM THIS IS UP TO $250 USD (This is the price, so PLEASE DO NOT BID ABOVE, as this is the final price, and must be in this specified budget). WE ENCOURAGE, PLENTY OF QUESTIONS FOR UNDERSTANDING…CAN BE A VERY EXCITING PROJECT… We are looking for a VERY creative design team to create for us the ultimate ‘HIP-HOP’ magazine template, from start to finish. It will be up to about 35 pages—this includes a few pages that will call for a few variation pages (meaning several designs to switch from—including the cover). MUST be HIP design—as we are catering to youthful people, who are often times VERY visual… (No while we say vibrant colors--for first issue, just to get us started and to see that you have the concept, we know that when you do a template, you sketch it based on us filling it in with the color and picture for each issue). The template will consist of a front page and a back page--master pages etc.…with all other pages in the middle. It is to have an urban design (like some of the top urban magazines), and we’re to be able to use the template, easily, every month with no problem. The template must be in Indesign CS2 or greater. With each page that you design, you must give instructions for each page on how to add the text, change the background picture, change header, footer and remove pages or add pages where need be—mostly in Indesign. The pages must be able to be easily converted to JPEG. The first cover will need to be designed by you, and then we will need instructions on how to add pictures in front of the text (will provide sample of what we mean by this). TEMPLATE HAS TO BE GREAT! We will provide sample look pages ONLY, BUT will look for you and your team to be the CREATIVE forces behind the project, meaning that you will be responsible for giving our magazine a young, Hip, innovative look based upon the SAMPLE that we give…and they are just to give you an idea of the TYPE of designs that we are looking for, but we will not give you a layout of each page…so you have to be a very visual person who knows how to jump right into this…and send us things and then we will give input, NOW, for certain pages we will be very specific, and will tell you what we like, and for others, we will look to you to just design based upon the styles that you see that we may like. We are not trying to be like any other publication; SO, we want you to assist us in making our own little style. VERY IMPORTANT!!!! YOU MUST BE ABLE TO CREATE A TEMPLATE…SO THAT WE CAN WORK FROM IT, AND PROVIDE GOOD, THOROUGH INSTRUCTIONS WITH EACH PAGE THAT YOU DESIGN; INCLUDING THE COVER PAGE…IF YOU DESIGN SOME THINGS IN PHOTOSHOP AND BRING THEM OVER, AND THEN YOU MUST PROVIDE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THAT AS WELL. WE WANT YOU TO GIVE INSTRUCTIONS AS YOU DESIGN EACH PAGE…SO, THAT WE CAN TEST…IT IS ONE THING TO KNOW HOW TO DESIGN, BUT IT IS ANOTHER FOR YOU TO LAY IT OUT SO THAT WE CAN SUCCESSFULLY WORK FROM IT. NO EXCEPTIONS! Communications MUST happen everyday or every other day via IM and e-mail…NO EXCEPTION. You have 20 days (we are on a TIGHT, TIGHT DEADLINE) to complete this in total, but we MUST see progress everyday…and see pages being done everyday and instructions, so that we can give immediate feedback…NO EXCEPTION! No payment will be rendered until completion of the project is done. Many times we will enlists you or your company to do the covers for a fee…outlined in the document that we send, but we still must have a template cover as well. Again, you must be able to successful in doing the magazine/template for us to work from month after month. More work from this is sure to come…it will not just end with the template. We do not like to work with a lot of people, as we like to be consistent with who we work with. Everything is to be owned by us, and the designs will need to be creative, and we’ll need to be given all original files. We will also need a PDF of the template as well. If you think that you can handle this, then please do bid and show your best work! We do require revisions until everything is satisfactory & will need training until we grasp the template, and will need you until we grasp understanding. We will hire you for future projects, as this will not end with just the magazine template… SAMPLES MUST BE PROVIDED VIA PM ONLY…WE WANT TO SEE SAMPLES OF WORK… *No Slackers *Must Be Patient *Must Be Creative *Must Understand that communication is key! *Must take pride in work and reputation…MUST BE A PRO We will send on COMPLETE requirements and samples to the person/entity that we lean towards choosing to make sure that you understand BEFORE you even accept the project, and YOU MUST BE RELIABLE, PATIENT AND HONEST… Thank you.
