We are also Mac compatible. :-)
We are two publishing consultants who are starting a radio show geared toward
anyone who has ever wanted to, or attempted to, publish a book. Published
authors ourselves, our approach is witty, irreverant, and fully of
up-to-the-minute information.
We would like a cartoon logo, or cartoon-driven logo, depicting two women: one
busty blond WASP-y midwest type, another Jewish New York type with pointy
glasses, and a book somewhere in there. Probably a raised eyebrow, too. Crafty,
savvy, not too "nice," but not mean, either. Wise-cracking, fun, but
would run a mile for you in a snowstorm if it came down to it. We're both
good-looking and in our early 30s, babe rather than matron types. I envision
wide pen strokes, not too many or too skinny lines, so this would show up well
on either the web or print.
We'd like to see mock-ups, and on that basis to decide with whom we'll work to
refine the design.
