Description:	Media player dropbox required for digital signage project. The player should play several media types (Quicktime, AVI, JPG, PNG, etc.) plus it should be able to display a txt ticker across the bottom of the screen, sourced from either an TXT file or from an RSS feed. The player should be accessible via FTP from a remote site for uploading files. The player should play all files located within the specific FTP folder and should automatically update the file list at regular intervals - this interval should be customizable. Display duration of images should be able to be set by renaming the file, e.g., filename_25s.jpg should display the file for 25secs. Default image display length for image files should be customizable. We require a software only solutions, preferably using the latest LTS release of Ubuntu as all our hardware has been designed with this in mind. Please enquire if you require more information.
