The original developer due to unforeseen personal circumstances had to leave the project after finishing about 75-80% of the work. The original developer will be available to answer any questions. All layout work, graphic design, content port etc has been completed. All necessary modules / components have been installed and configured. The site uses osCommerce and Joomla. The project scope is very well defined as there is a live website www.crisp.com which is being ported over. When in doubt, the developer can refer to the live website to get the answer. The live website is: http://www.crisp.com The unfinished website is: http://cougar.xssl.net/~crisp.com/ This project is: a)Complete the unfinished portions of the website and make sure that everything is working correctly. b)Finish the search engine optimization tasks: Optimized for SEO with: SEF URL, Link Exchange module, Google and Yahoo sitemaps, modification to titles to be H1 tags, optimize it for different keywords. Make sure we submit to Google the new pages. Use of Meta description and keywords for each page, category and section. Use of XHTML heading tags (h1, h2, h3 etc), which are used by search engine to determine the structure and relevance of information on a page. Link exchange to increase Google PageRank. Use of alt and title fields for all inline images. c) Make sure that the new site is fully functional and bug free. Bugs that relate to any errors in configuration, installation or coding will need to be fixed. d)The following components are currently being used. They are working, however will need to be tested. 1.Facile Forms component and corresponding forms, which need to be integrated with Security Images for Captcha to eliminate/reduce spam. 2.JoomlaCloner for making backups 3.OpenSEF for search-engine friendly urls 4.Remository for trial software downloads and categorized access to product manuals etc 5.Knowledgebase for the pre-sales FAQs and post-sales support questions 6.Letterman for registering and creating HTML newsletters 7.Check configuration of osCommerce Payflow Link module to ensure customers are returned to the site once a successful payment has been made e)After finishing the website, the developer is expected to give a tour of the administrative functions of the website so that the end user can administer and maintain the website on their own. f)Publish the website so it is live on the internet.
