Description: |
Tracking Ads The product must be coded using PHP scripting & should be designed to co-ordinate with a MySql or SQL db structure. We want a system that will allow our members to logon to an account manager that is using sessions. Once the user has logged in with their username/password, we want them to be able to setup Tracker Links that will re-direct to the URL that they are promoting. Additionally this link will be used to TRACK certain information on the way to getting to the re-direction URL and even after they have gotten there. If you were to go to Adminder.com and have an account (One will be furnished), you would see that it is written in cgi. However it does perform most all of the tasks that we desire. The tracker link created by a member will record information upon being clicked by anyone or displayed by any service: 1. The IP Address of the individual clicking 2. Area information (City, Country, and Zip code if possible) with respect to the individual clicking the tracker link 3. A raw/unique click tracking process enveloped into this process 4. To know what kind of Operating System this user has that clicked the tracker link 5. The ISP of the individual that has clicked this link or of the service displaying 6. The referring URL of any service that is displaying the URL (Instead of a click) 7. A date/time stamp additionally put on each record created for the track itself (Uniques & raws) After the tracking link has been displayed or clicked, we do want further ACTIONS performed as well. When anyone clicks the link, we want a cookie written immediately to their computer so that we can identify this person later on, should they go to a page that results in an action, such as a SALE or a new SIGN-UP. Lets say that the individual clicked on a link and it took them to Pageswirl, which is where the re-direction URL will take them. Immediately upon the user clicking the track link, they are taken to the re-direction URL that is assigned to the track, and also a cookie is written to the clickers computer. This cookie will be READ with another action process that would be stimulated by the Thank you page coming up on a free sign-up to Pageswirl. Another bit of PHP is inserted into that page, and this will read the cookie and mark the Track Link account properly with an Action or a Sale, based upon what CODE is selected to be used (action.php sale.php) that is inserted into the Thank you page of Pageswirl by the Webmaster of pageswirl. Additionally we want reporting functions for the links tracked. This way the member will know which tracks produced the most sign-ups, or even sign-ups using the Action or Sales cookie that was placed on the clickers system. See below for more. Now that the user who originally clicked on the link is directed to Pageswirl. Two days later they come back and actually sign-up and have not deleted their cookies. It is an action.php that is being used, because it is just a free sign-up and not a sale. However if it were an action based upon a sale page then it is treated differently with respects to that page. The action.php reads the cookie which will tell the script exactly where this individual clicked (because we have the tracklink to establish an id with) came from and designate that an Action ocurred. After the Action: 1. We want the information stored from the cookie given to the person tracking the Ad (Non-personal) that corresponds with one of the ip's or unique links that came up to the individual who is using this service. This way the person using this tracking system will know all of the above information (Items 1-7) AND...it is in conjunction with the track they setup. So now they know exactly where this Action came from. Each time a tracking link goes out and it is clicked upon, we have the above information, and a cookie is written with this information to the clickers computer. The cookie will then be read anytime an action.php or sales.php (Or ?) is executed and if there is a match on the clickers computer, then all information will be recorded for the benefit of the member using the tracking system. We also want an affiliate process that is incorporated with the script. It must be a single tier, where 40% is paid to the paying member and 10% is paid to the Free member for each single sale that the free/paying member makes. This is a recurring sale, so the 40/10 is recurring as well, and we want something that works in conjunction with Paypal and other shopping cart systems. If a member goes to their paypal account and cancels the subscription, we want the script to know about this and to reduce the member to a free account. We want ALL PREVIOUS records to be stored so that the account can be re-instated if there is an issue with the billing. It is imperative that the account is NOT destroyed if a billing process fails. It may need to be re-constructed if there was an error with the billing process. So, a pro member makes a sale, they are immediately paid their 1st month commission and for as long as the paypal payment continues, the commission continues at 40% for the Pro member and 10% for the free member at a single tier level. If a free member makes a sale, then the same process, they are paid their 10% and will receive 10% additionally each month until the subscription is canceled in any fashion. Additionally, we would want reporting functions as they would work in conjunction with the information being gathered. If a sale or action occurred, then the member should be able to show all tracks for that particular link that is being tracked by the different ads. So that the member will know what services are giving them the MOST results. Michael Blair Related Projects: This project is the proprietary information of .
