would prefer MySql, but either will be fine. For the prayer part, A person would have a form that they would complete that would have several fields (name, location, email, prayer request and a drop down menu that would have a set of times like 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, etc.) When they complete the form and submit, it would then be able to be displayed along with other prayer request on a page that shows all the prayer request that have been submitted. Each request would show the following, the person's name, location, prayer request, time to b elisted, a hidden email link(will explain hidden link) and a button that readers could push to indicate that they will pray for the request and it would list how many people of times that button has been pressed.) After the time to be displayed, the request would be deleted, so if they choose 1 week in the drop down, then after one week, the request would disappear. New entries would appear at the top of the page that is read. Each request should be seperated by a line. As far as the hidden email link, that would be if someone wanted to email the person who submitted the request, they would click on the link and take them to a form that would email the person, but they would not know what the email address is. As far as the praise repost, the form would be similar as far as name, email, days, etc. Once submitted, it would then be listed on a praise page similar to the prayer page and all the info would be setup the same except there would not be a link for those who want to pray. Lastly, I would need to have the output be able to also be shown by using javascript, so that if I wanted to put the praise and/or prayers on many pages, I could use a javascript call and just place that code on whatever pages I want. There is a part 2 to this script once this one is completed, I just need to get this out right away and then will give the same person the option of doing part 2. This can be a script from scratch or modified from a BBS or graffitte type script. Whatever is easier for you. I have a script similar to this already, but not with all the features.
