I am looking for a Perl/CGI programmer who can do some regular work/updates on my website. I currently have a community/profile based website with 910 members. My website has many dynamic features included membership accounts, personal website, posting, blogs, guestbooks etc... The programmer who built my site is no longer available to do work and I desperately need someone to do periodic updates on my site including: -Making adjustments to current features (bug fixes, upgrades, enhancements to current features etc..) -Creating new features/functionality (examples: photo gallery, template system, newsletter signup etc...) I would like someone who is fast, experienced, ethical and reasonably priced since I would like to work with this person on a regular basis. Please only bid if you can offer your services on a long-term basis. I am really easy to work with, I pay immediately and I offer continuous work so if you are a great Perl programmer... PLEASE SAVE ME FROM MY MISERY!! ---------------------------------------------------------- THE CURRENT PROJECT TO BID ON: 1) To start off with, I would like to put a limit to the number of postings a member can make each day. I am getting a flood of new members and with that comes a HUGE flood of postings which is starting to look like spam :( I would like to put a "maximum upload per day" feature to my site which will restrict the free members from uploading past my limit. The paid members can still post as much as they like! I would like to be able to modify this number through my current admin area! 2) I would also like to add new questions/fields to the current member profiles. Things like: "My Favorite Author is: ______ " Just basic profile fields! That's it for now. Please bid ONLY on the above two... BUT keep in mind that my next project will involve creating an integrated contests administrational tool and an online newsletter tool that allows me to send HTML emails to my members. Since I want to work with the same person, please make sure you can handle larger, more complicated projects as well! Thanks so much!
