Description: |
Basic functionality PHP scripts are needed to start and maintain state in a shopping cart. I've had difficulty getting things to work properly. The scripts will be integrated into the site by myself after they're working. DB tables may need to be modified to work properly. No design is needed. A demo with no design elements (on your server) would be helpful to prove functionality. Not all elements need to be linked, just basic functionality, then I'll add the rest in the same fashion. A session needs to be initialized in our PHP/MySQL shopping cart. Verio may have the web server module working with CGI, although we can't figure out how to do this properly. Task may or may not use CGI. Need assistance to determine this. We need the initial page (form) to collect first name, last name, email address, and phone number from a user upon entering our site to browse for steel buildings. Here, a session needs to begin, and remember all choices made throughout the building selection process by entering it to a DB table. Clicking next in the form moves to the next page. Customer scrolls through list of buildings in an HTML table cell and chooses a size. Choice brings customer to next page with A and B building options. A size and price is returned from the DB into a dynamic table cell. Customer also selects building code on this page. Next, building colors are chosen from a combination of 3 drop down form windows for wall color, trim color, and roof color. Colors not important, we'll update the scripts as needed. I need to update the cart table in the DB with the selection and return updated price, size, and options from the previous selections. So far this is what we need help with. It is not a full project, but rather an emergency fix to get things working right. Security and checkout will be handled in a separate task. Thanks for the help. Respond with questions for more detail. This should be a simple task for a seasoned PHP professional and take little time. Related Projects: This project is the proprietary information of .
