Description: |
Paypal. We need someone fast, reliable, and looking to work with us on future projects as well. Please only bid if you are qualified and are confident in your ability to deliver! We've had some bad experiences on here with people getting over their head and not being able to finish projects. We need you to modify our perl script (or write your own in PHP or Perl that interacts with ours) so that it takes input from an html form (make this form around your script). This script will be for new users to sign-up for our WebGUI system. The html form will contain a Paypal payment order so they can subscribe to our system. Once payment received via Paypal the script then accesses WebGUI's MySQL database and inserts the user into the proper groups in the db (depending on html form selections), then the system auto-emails their password (by our script invoking the "i forgot my password mechanism already built into WebGUI" that users click when they forget their password). There will be mechanisms to ensure only people on our "list" will get added automatically while others not on list have to be manually approved after they pay. Steps: 1) Modify our EXISTING and attached perl script (which adds new users to WebGUI via MySQL) so that it accepts Html form data when people signup via Paypal. 2) Then after they pay with paypal but before users are added to the database there is a check to see if their name is on a student roster (in other words not everyone is added automatically after they pay). This will involve comparing the information they used on the html form (name and/or email) with the info in a roster of names in a flat text file. 3) If the users info (gathered from html form when they paid) is in our roster then they get added to our MySQL database immediately. If their user info is not on our roster then they are put in an admin "Que". We will then manually review people in this que and can simply click "allow adding" for them to be added. Reviewing this que will be via a simple admin script. 4) People who paid and on our roster then get emailed their account info (invoking existing mechanism) and so do those not on our roster AFTER we manually approve them via the simple admin interface. So in short, you'd modify our existing script and write a short, simple admin script as well to handle users added to the que who aren't listed on our text file roster. thanks, James Additional Info (Added 11/20/2005 at 20:37 EST)...
