!!!!! NO HOSTING CONTROL PANEL EXPERIENCE, NO BIDDING PLEASE !!!!! Project stages 1) evaluation & recommendation - study existing control panel, licensing, installer, packaging and suggest new features/modify existing features... decide what to do and what you are good at. (budget $30.00). If I am not happy after this stage, I will cancell the next projects. 2) recommend lists of jobs - to do after above evaluation. The features (new/modify) must be the ones you HAVE DONE and GOOD already. (free, $0.00) At this point, we decide requirements and project fee together. Your input and my input = requirements. 3) Demo with above #2 features in my demo server. Including licensing/installer/packaging,etc.. all ready like real life situation (40% of the total fee paid after demo) 4) internal testing and bug reporting/fixing period of 7 ~10 days by out staff. (40% paid after this) 5) 3 months of bug fixing after launching. Should be free and response time should be one business day. (20% paid 15 days after going live) Below is what I think.. but programmers should first recommend lists of jobs they can do quickly. 1) add/modify existing hosting control panel in mod_perl. Add traffic control, one click auto update, mysql backup/restore, site backup/restore, make APF web based interface, others to be agreed by both after evaluation process. 2) then, do hosting control panel packaging for Fedora Core 4 variant linux distro. Modify existing licensing/ install server. Will provide existing control panel, linux distro. Again, only experienced system admin with hosting control panel in particular perl, mod_perl please.
