Description:	Hi, I would like to have a custom application that test internet speed connection (download & upload). It should download some files, record the elapsed time and calculate in real time the speed. Should do the same with the upload. File size should vary from 400k to 7-8mb. Upon completion, it should call a javascript function. That way, we can record results in a remote database, store the result locally on the user's computer (cookie) and hide/display some div element. To get a better idea, check out [obscured] . To start with, we'd only have 1 server, so no need to choose a server like they do.
