Description: |
I need someone to solve my CSS problem. I need 2 "overlapping" lavers (Z-index:1, z-index:9). The lower layer contains plain text & links. The upper layer contains a large image. The quantity of text varies & hence the height of the layer also changes. I need the top image-layer to resize itself (on the fly) to match the height & width of the lower text-layer such that it will always cover the lower text-layer. The idea is to make sure the top layer always covers the underlying text layer. Any resolution / any size / any browser. I have setup a small text scenario here: http://vaibhavs.50megs.com/test3.htm As you can see the first problem in my code is that the browser over-scrolls. Next, if I add more content to the lower text-layer, it will over grow & will be seen. I do not wish to use "hidden" property of layers.
