We have scanned many ebooks in french, english, italian and passed them to the OCR. Example: http://www.pnl-nlp.org/download/hectordurville/ Part 1 What we need is somebody able to create a graphic layout in html for each of these ebooks online and create after an ebook using some ebook software (choose yourself). We want also a mac version for each ebook. Some pages of the ebooks will be freely accessible, some of them will be instead password protected and to see them the user will need to ask for a password. We want a finished product. You will create: The graphic layout of the pages (with an index on the left etc...) The page with instructions on how to get the password. The ebook itself using a software not allowing to copy the ebook from one PC to another (choose yourself the software you prefer) and the possibility of multiple passwords. A publicitary page with the image of the ebook (the small box) and some other images (we will give you the texts). The ebooks will contain also an introductory page (that we will give to you) and some banners linking to our site (that you wil, realize in order to fit in the ebook). You will give us both the html source code as the finished ebook. We will prefer somebody able to operate autonomously, understanding a little the meaning of the book (may be using altavista or some other translation service), seeking himself the appropriate images, realizing every ebook in short times and inserting it after our approbation in our database. Part 2 In order to give the passwords after somebody pays we need a specific program. We don't give here specific instructions as it is strictly linked with the program for creating the ebook but we want you to realize a system. Part 3 For each ebook we will need also an appropriate counterpart on the web. Our idea is a place with some images and graphics similar to that of the book where the readers will have the possibility to post their comments on the different chapters of the book acceeding directly from the ebook or with a user (user will be their email) and a password from the web. In each case they will give their email that will be saved by a cookie. These comments will be placed in a way that will give the possibility for the users to answer to comments of other users or for an user to signal to the admin comments having not appropriate content. Automatically, as a user will do such a signalisation, the comment will be obscured and the admin will be alerted so that he will have the possibility to check what's happening. The users will be emailed as somebody will answer to their comments and they will have the possibility to be emailed each time somebody add a comment. The comments of the admin will be in a very identifiable colour. On the ebook will be possible to see if there are comments and at the bottom of each chapter will be possible to acceed to the program online to let comments.
