You will need to install: http://lucene.apache.org/nutch/tutorial.html nutch-0.7.1.tar.gz http://java.sun.com/j2se/downloads/index.html J2SE 1.4.2 http://tomcat.apache.org/ Tomcat 4.1 Then follow the tutorial and do sections: "Whole-web Crawling" "Whole-web: Boostrapping the Web Database" "Whole-web: Fetching" "Whole-web: Indexing" "Searching" Test the sample database that you have indexed and make sure everthing is okay. I will have more work for you to do on this project later, but just quote on the above. I also need it done quickly so if you are really booked up please do not bid.
