I have a image/photo lab store for image printing and processing. I want to have my business available on the web so that users can create an account and upload their images to be paid through credit card and have their prints delivered to their homes. I want a website project made entirely using open source tools like apache, postgres, tomcat and java applets to create a free OS environment. I need this site to create and maintain user accounts, using email verification and have a database of image files uploaded for each user and deleted manually after printed. I also want a feature that could resize and shrink large files (5 Mpixel and up) before they are uploaded. During the uploads there must be an progress status bar and after uploading each picture, a thumbnail should be created so that users can check if they uploaded the right files. The upload method must include single or multiple files selection (windows explorer-like GUI preferred) and a complete folder upload, in this case, a confirmation windows with the number of photos and the size to be upload should be included before uploading. These images must be stored in the local disk or in a database for printing. I don't need any beautiful or fancy web pages, I have web designers in my store.
