Progressive Entertainment is based at www.ukfridays.com
We are an entertainment company based in London UK and we have been running for
2 years.
At the moment we would like to develop a new website that is more commercial
orientated and need your help.
Do you think you could take a look at our current site and redesign it, adding a
flash intro, a menu page with an image and links to the other pages. We are
looking for something simple sexy and chic like www.so-reckless.com our brother
website.
There are too many pages on the current listing and we need to narrow this down
to the following pages
1. Flash intro with music and our logo
2. Home page as an image with the menu options at the bottom and a mailing list
option on it
3. Events Page
4. Contact Page
5. Bookings page
However I'm sure you will be able to come up with some great ideas for our
project.
We have prepared a more detailed briefing document which we will send to you
once we have seen your portfolios.

Here is what we need for our website, these are just our ideas please use your
creative ability to develop this dynamic and stylish site, there are no design
restrictions and we look forward to any ideas you may have.
Intro Page - Flash
Our intro should be a flash moving image integrating our logo with the design
(we will send you the logo) perhaps it could dance onto the page or appear with
music. We are not sure what colour we would like but trust your design
abilities. We want the user to have the ability to ‘skip intro’ and also have
controls to stop the music. Please do not make the intro too long it should be
quick and eye catching. There should also be an enter here button appearing at
the end of the intro.
Home Page – HTML
We would like a background image with links to the pages at the bottom these
will be an:
• About Us
• Gallary Page
• Events Page
• Contact Page
• Bookings page
We would also like an option to join a mailing list on this page with a choice
to add a friend to this mailing list.
About us – HTML
Image as a background and some text telling the user about us – we will provide
the text.
Events Page – HTML
Once clicked this will open up to a page where there is an image as a background
like the home page. Over this there will be a transparent calendar that covers
two months on this page. On the days that we are having events the date will be
highlighted and the information about the event will be shown. Ie…our next event
is Poetry in Motion…
When you put your mouse over a date this info will show up to the right of the
mouse. If they click on a date it will go into that event which will have its
own page and it will be the same, image in the background and sub links to
photos, details about the event and bookings. Also an overall link for a swf
file moving imagery.
Contact Us Page..
Name describes what we need on this page but as with the designing of this site
please put an image as the background
