Description:
Two-month project starting around mid-February 2005 full time. Individual MUST
work on-site in Sacramento, California.

Required Skills:

· Minimum 2 years experience in Java Development.
· Minimum 2 years experience in on-line security system architecture.
· Knowledge and experience with technology system development life cycle.
· Strong background in formal project planning.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to work with both business and technical staff in a team environment.

· Ability to work with full suite of Microsoft Office tools.

Desired Skills:

· Familiarity with large-scale government taxation systems.
· Experience with a large-scale mainframe project.
· Experience with large government data center services.

The Java Developer will have the following general duties and responsibilities:


1. Develop and implement a Java solution for the project.
2. Manage and assist project staff in the preparation of the production
simulation environment.
3. Define and execute an overall implementation approach to ensure successful
release of the system into production.
4. Develop and present contingency plans for implementation.
5. Prepare and execute the event schedule for the Implementation Plan.
6. Provide progress reporting for the implementation effort.
7. Provide input into the development of help desk procedures and
documentation. 8. Provide input into the business training and technical
knowledge transfer for the new system.
9. Provide input into the production configuration for the project including
defining all output distribution processes and the associated owners of each
output.
10. Provide input into the coordination of the rollout logistics.
11. Provide input on the security architecture in place
12. Update current Java modules, test scripts and construction specifications.
