But the chat server seems to disconnect since the install, and the developer has given me the command to restart but he has suggested that I get someone to figure out a way to run this server in the background. This also effects the IM as well a the chat room, both use Java. I think this should be a simple job, to perhaps set up an auto command to restart and run in the background on the site. Additional Info (Added 11/25/2004 at 20:06 EST)... I probably need a small shell script to be written that will auto restart the chatserver. The command line that I use just now to restart:- Command: java -classpath ./ IMServer > output.txt & The server is linux running redhat 9 I would expect this project to take no more than a couple of hrs, I have difficulty accepting bids that are high if you quote $5 or $10 per hour average in your resume. I am looking to pay no more than $35 for this project. Which based on $10p/h = 3.5hrs work or 7hrs if quoted $5 p/h. - I think this is a reasonable assumption! STOPzilla! Anti-Spyware Software
