I dont know what language it needs to be in. I almost dont care, but I think JSP will probably work best. When you bid on this please leave me a message in the message board to tell me what language you will do this in. The web site needs to be used by virtually every wireless device in the world. Mobiles, PDAs, smart phones, etc all need to be able to see it. When users come to the web site (on their PC) all they should see is PROFILE INFORMATION so that they can set up their preferences. Everything else needs to be done on the mobile device. That means that if they go to www.ebay.com on their PC they see a full site, but if they go to www.ebay.com on their mobile phone they will see a wap version. Bottom line, I dont want to have to create something like wap.wbay.com for the user to see it. The user should only have to go to one web site and it transfrorms itself to the right device. I have an existing web/wireless site that is done in a special language from www.hawhaw.de I like it because it automatically transforms itself from regular html pages into XML, DHTML, i-mode, m-mode, wap pages so that the mobile device you are using can read the information properly. If you can use my existing site (using www.hawhaw.de) and make changes to it thats fine. If you have to start all over from scratch thats fine too. Webmail: Just like yahoo and msn... When the user signs up they automatically get an email address that they can use from their mobile device. So you will have to create a simple email app (with all of the basic functions). Import: App should allow users to store all of their addresses from Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Outlook into the mobile app. User should be able to upload their address book from Yahoo, MSN, AOl and Outlook. Users should be able to search all fields for any type of info. Users should be able to download whole database into a CSV file. Users should be able to direct dial or email (like action links) anyone in their database. (all numbers and email addresses should allow user to call, send emails, and SMS from phone) Should accept Paypal and Linkpoint. SAVES to existing MySQL databse. Use www . upoc . com as an example. It gives users webmail and an address book, etc. I have an admin section already done in PHP that I need to keep. So you will have to make edits to that.
