However, YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH CLEARCASE!!!!! Here is the task. 1. Create a utlity to copy the contents of a VOB to a local hard drive. The utility must auto run every night You must setup the utility that it will copy from a view that is available to be copied from. The utility should be EASY to modify to copy other vobs. These should be stored in a dile. 2. Create a search engine over the contents of the copied file. The engine should have a main page with a search box, an advanced search to specify the type of file or search by name, content or date The main page should also show the last 10 files added, and the last ten files modified. It should also have other statistics such as number of files that have not been modified/added in the past 6 months. The statistics are to be added after you set up the search engine. The page should state which VOBS or other data srouces are included in the search. In the advanced search, you should be able to select which VOBS to search. 3. Enable other users to access the data from within our network.i.e. set up a webserver or whatever it takes for others to access my PC via the web. 4. You must be able to install all of this remotely or worse case guide me through it until it works. 5. provide 30 days support. So the basic problem is, we have too many docs in clearcase and nobody can find anything. So I want to copy them onto the hard drive on my local pc every night and index them with a search engine. I want people to be able to search the docs and open any that are on the drive. YOu must use Open source or free tools to accomplish all of this. Must run on Win2k. Must be lightweight. MUST BE USER FRIENDLY!! We are a reputable company and we will pay and be fair but we require utmost integrity both sides. We require references. 9. We will require credentials and references prior to award. 10. We reserve the right to not release any of the escrowed fees if you do not deliver the scope of work within the timeline and our expected quality agreed upon. 12.
