financial charts for high traffic websites. I'm looking for a programmer or company that has created live financial charts before. Please provide links to examples of your work related to financial charts if possible. Gather and Store Data : The data for the charts will be taken from a text file every minute and stored in a mysql database. The script will need to obtain data for two commodities in 23 currencies and store this data in a database. The data will be stored in grams. Generate 138 Charts: The script that generates the charts will need to generate a separate chart in grams, ounces and kilos in 23 currencies every minute, similar to the example chart below. Except a .png file instead of .gif This would be a total of 69 charts being generated for each of the two commodities. So 138 charts every 1 minute. The line on the chart will need to pause after the close of trading in New York on Fridays and start updating again at the start of trading in Sydney on Mondays. The chart will also need to show a number for the increase or decrease in price for the day. With a green arrow for increases and a red down arrow for decreases. The chart will also need to display the current price in digits. Ideally the charts will be displayed on html pages but if that's not possible due to high server load they could be displayed on a php page. It is important that all the charts load smoothly when being displayed by over 1000 people at the same time. It is important that the script can handle this large amount of data accumulating over time. e.g. It should not have problems when the data base gets very large e.g. over 500mb. The script will need a feature to automatically or easily manually adjust for changes in Day light savings when they occur, as well as the ability to easily configure the scripts time zone if we need to move servers. The script should be able to be easily installed. This is a difficult project so I would like to see the script working on the programmers server as well as on our high traffic server before I pay for the script. Please include bug testing time in your quote. I am happy to put payment into escrow before you start work. There are 3rd party charting packages available which I am prepared to purchase if required for this project. The price of these packages would not be included in your quote. If you know of a suitable charting package please mention it via private message and I will confirm if I'm willing to purchase it before you bid on the project. I would retain full copyright to this script. The developer would need to sign an agreement in regard to copyright ownership of the script. Thank you for taking the time to bid on this script.
