Java/JSP/Postgresql. Please have an exact look at the linkedin features and the friend of a friend mechanism. Features: * The advanced FOAF feature is necessary, means one can only get another ones "Contact" with permission granted by the connecting friend * Endorsements * Powerfull full text search, integration of apache lucene would be preferred * Need to be easy to modify, templated system * Basic CMS functions * Backend interface for user administration and monitoring * Seamless Integration of a Job Market with "apply" functionality (second step) * JBoss/Tomcat preferred, recommendations welcome (open source pls) * Message queuing * Must be scaleable with clean, extendable architecture (3-tier...) Important: * History of successfully running Web applications without problems * If you have a working product, I need to take a look at a working demo (both frontend AND backend) to verify quality and features and how smooth the backend is to manage (must be administered on Admin GUI) * Installation instructions and -script (sql syntax, building database tables by script etc.) * Documentation All workflows and processes we need are modeled in visio and documented in detail.
