eBay Yahoo! Auctions uBid Bidville Overstock Auctions Amazon Auctions All will require that user enter their login information for each site. All will have to snipe with seconds left in the auction, and Yahoo! auctions will have to do this check twice as the one auctioning a product is allowed to extend the bidding for 5 minutes if their are last-minute bids. In addition, this system must grab and pull back information on the product that user is bidding on and place it in a database for future use (meaning I would need product name, bid amount, category, date, etc). I will also require a tiered snipe bidding system whereby a user can put in sniped bids for multiple products and link them. If they win one of the bids the rest are automatically canceled. It will need to allow users to change their bids on products in the system, update them, cancel them, etc. It will be required that messages are sent based on certain events such as: Winning the bid Being outbid Auto cancel of other bids based on tiered/linked product bids Etc.... It will be required that a browser add-on be built that will allow the user to be on one of those sites (eBay, uBid, etc) and click the button and add that product and bid to their account directly from that page. This will be primary phase. Secondary phase will be a screen scraper that allows users to search auctions on all sites from this site. This will be a different project, but the winner of this project will have the best chance of getting that project as well. Bid accordingly.
