illustration. Our website is static HTML pages updated by hand. Generated in Go Live 6.0, all pages are templated and ready for some back end dynamic content. We would like our artists to be able to update their own portfolios, update biographical info, post new projects and images, etc. Each artist would have a username and password, and they would have a content management page where they could lay out (or choose the order to upload images to the server). We have examples of websites with a similar content management system (our favorite is PHP based). We are on a Cobalt RAQ server running Sun Cobalt OS 6.0 and includes includes integrated ASP, Frontpage Server Extensions, CGI scripting and SSI support. Thanks for considering this project. The portfolio pages that pop-up in a new window when opened would also be managed by the artist. these pages need to be dynamic content, but care must be taken not to disrupt html (which people deep link to) or header info for search engine. there are also recent projects pages that share common elements with the artist pages, but have different content, which needs to be updated by an administrator and/or artist.
