The Portal holds data about a lot of companies of a Business Catalog of a big Organization. The Portlet should be a small e-"marketplace" of the Portal. e-"marketplace" means that some of the products or services of a company could be available for simple RFIs or RFPs or available for promotion. PROJECT SCOPE: 1. Ability to add specific company data to Portal database 2. Ability to present Company data and Profile with details 3. Ability to present details of Company products and services 4. Ability to present Company products and services with promotion from time to time 5. Ability to have Company products and services available for RFI (Request for Information) or RFP (Request for Proposals) 6. Ability for stats inside the portlet FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS: There are 3 type of roles inside the Portal: - Portal Admin - Company User (Companies have stored data inside the Portal as i wrote before) - Single User There should be a User Registration with the following required fields: - Username - Name - TaxCode 1. ADD/EDIT FORMS FOR ADDITIONAL COMPANY INFOS Every Company on the Portal Database has stored some information. Informations are stored on a MS-SQL Server 2005 database. All these information can be accessed by the portlet but should be only read-only data. There will be some additional fields that should be updated from inside the portlet. These information are related to company categories or company services or products details. These information should be administrative, easily updated with suitable ADD/EDIT forms. 2. ADDITIONAL COMPANY DATA PRESENTATION There will be created simple forms for the presentation of company details. These forms will be Tabbased on their GUI or something minimal on it's presentation and design 3. COMPANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES PRESENTATION There will also be created some forms for Company Products or Services Presentation 4. PRODUCTS OR SERVICES PROPOSALS Every Portal Company will have the ability to "publish" some of it's Products or Services as Proposals for a period of time. These Proposals should be fully administrative: - Company admin should have the ability to add or delete the proposal or publish/unpublish it for a period of time - Every user should have the ability to be informed with e-mail about published proposals of the Company if he/she want it to be 5. PROPOSAL RESULTS Product or Services Proposal results should be stored on the database with their statuses: - Requested Info - Details of the requestor 6. PORTLET STATS - IP for every logged user - User id for every logged user - Visited pages - Date/Time of visit - Company code 7. ABILITY TO HAVE SIMPLE MESSAGING SYSTEM INSIDE THE PORTLET Every user should have the ability to see SENT/INBOX messages that sent to every company inside the portlet 8. ABILITY FOR SEARCH OF COMPANY SERVICES/PRODUCTS Freetext search of Company, Services and Products-similar to http://www.whyabe.com/findsellitems.php 9. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES Ability for RFP based on Products or Services Categories.
