Description: |
Hi there, I need a basic asterisk configuration. This asterisk box will use SIP to handle outbound and inbound. There will be an DID assigned to this asterisk box. For the sake of description, assume this DID is 1-866-355-3555. Here's what I'd like it to do: When someone dials 1-866-355-3555, they hear a tone (dtmf key, whatever. doesn't matter.). They then enter a 5 digit password. If incorrect, the Asterisk box should hang up. If correct, it should play a tone twice. Once authenticated, the user should be able to type a number (in 11/10 digit NANP format). followed by another 11 digit NANP number. The Asterisk box should dial the second number with the caller ID of the first number. An example session: I dial 1-866-355-3555. I hear a beep. I enter my password, 30850. I hear two beeps. I dial 1-775-388-2929 and I hear a beep. I enter another number, 1-755-235-9283 and I hear a beep and then ringing. When the phone at 1-755-235-9283 rings, it should show 1-755-388-2929 as the Caller ID. I'm not new to Asterisk, so I should have no trouble installing on my own, but please be willing to answer 1 or 2 questions. That's it! Please let me know if you have any questions.
