1. Develop simple web site to each day import comma-delimited text file (less than 1 kb) into MySQL db. File contains state-by-state "scores" for two players. Web site would use simple algorithm (provided) to use these scores to determine a "winner" of each state and assign a point value to each, and then use GD::Image to generate a PNG map of the U.S. to show what states have been won by which player. 2. Develop an iPhone application using the iPhone SDK with three tabs... The first tab shows the PNG map created above and the total scores (based on assigned state-by-state point values) for each player. The second tab would list for each player the states he/she has won. Tapping on any state in the list will bring up a secondary screen showing all historical score data for that state, highlighting the most recent. The third tab would list each state alphabetically, along with the most recent score. Like in teh second tab, tapping on any state in the list will bring up a secondary screen showing all historical score data for that state, highlighting the most recent.
