Description: |
Canadian firm seeks a candidate to write a PSP (Sony Playstation Portable) boot script, likely via a customized eboot.pbp. When the unit is turned on the script must: 1. Autoplay a video file located in the default memory stick directory (file name will be provided). 2. Upon the completion of the video, autoconnect to a wireless SID (connection name will be supplied). 3. Upon successful connection, the PSP will load a list of RSS feeds which have been saved to the default directory on the memory stick. The project fee will be doubled if the candidate can demonstrate how to hide (but not disable) all but a select list of applications which come with the unit (ie. remove the 'Photo', 'Settings', 'Music', 'Remote Play' and other similar programs. This must be done by working inside the original OS and using the original interface. The successful candidate will be able to provide references for similar, completed past projects. Payment: The entire fee will be transferred into escrow at the beginning of the project and released when the script has been tested in our office.
