I am starting a small business and need a designer to develop a web site. The purpose of the site will be to provide information about my company and promote its services to other U.S. companies (B2B). The target audience will be engineers, manufacturing managers, and purchasing/retail personnel, so the appearance and functionality of the site must be very professional. The site should be visually appealing, with an attractive mix of text and graphics. I have a general concept for the site based on several existing web sites/applications which I like (see reference document for site URLs). The designer will be responsible for creating a web site which approximates and combines various aspects of the example web sites. I expect about five different customized “template” pages will be required (overall look and feel to be consistent among them, maybe just some different color schemes or layouts). Individual web pages could be as few as 10 or as many as 25 depending on how the information is best presented (some sections could be on separate web pages or consolidated). Each individual web page will use one of the five “templates.” Verbiage and photos/illustrations will be unique on each page. I have completed and will electronically provide the verbiage for each section/page. I may need some help identifying and providing stock photos and/or creating illustrations to be incorporated into the web pages. I will provide the layout for the site and navigation map. There will be navigation links among the site web pages, and possibly a few to other web sites. The plan is for the web pages to be static (i.e. animation will not be required) however, I will be open to designer suggestions for animation if that is a feature which can be included. No data collection, processing or e-commerce of any kind will be required. To be considered for this project, the prospective designer must provide a bid which is broken down according to the format below AND respond with complete answers to additional requested information. Business will be awarded based on overall value and timeliness of development. Note - I expect to develop another web site within a month or so.
