To program a video chat messenger that can be integrated into a dating site with a mysql database (I do not require integration) that looks similar to camfrog messenger: http://www.camfrog.com/ with the following features. 1. P2P technology to reduce bandwidth for my server (runs IP to IP just like an IM application like MSN messenger) 2. Users can take pictures of themselves via a nicely designed button where the pictures are stored in the mysql database at a certain size and image type. When a user takes a picture, there are graphic buttons: (accept or redo) 3. Users can take 10-20 second video clips of themselves to store in the mysql database that do not exceed a certain size or length (ex. 10-20 seconds = 200 KB) There is a maximum KB that a user can use for video storage in the database. When a user takes a video clip, there are graphic buttons: (accept or redo) 4. Chat rooms: Add/Delete chat rooms from the admin panel Chat rooms are like conferencing rooms where users can chat with other users and click on their name to view their video (see camfrog http://www.camfrog.com) Users can also create their own chat rooms. 5. Private Messenging. Users can private message other users. 6. Private Rooms. Users can create private rooms and invite other users to join those private rooms. 7. Firewall Support & Webcam combatibility: The messenger can work around firewalls the way eyeball offers: http://www.eyeballchat.com/help/overview_fw.php and is compatible with most webcams 8. Emoticons. Users can post emoticons that are animated and when used and pressed enter there is an animation on the screen of that emoticon. It fills the screen and is animated. 9. There is an admin panel where an administrator can ban other users. 10. Users can block other users and add other users to their favourites. Users have a buddy list where they can add/delete users.
